Character creation on CreationDePerso is completely free, with no limit. You have two options: the classic form, which gives you full control over every detail, or the guided creation assistant, designed for beginners. Either way, your sheet follows the D&D 5e rules (2024 edition) and can be edited at any time.

Start with the guided creation assistant: it asks a few simple questions — your hero concept, your path, your species, your alignment — and only reveals your class at the end, like a little surprise. All twelve classes are reachable in a handful of answers, with no jargon. You end up with a complete, playable sheet without ever opening a rulebook.

Ability scores are rolled with the classic 4d6 method (roll four six-sided dice, keep the best three), directly on the site. You then assign the results to Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. Background and species bonuses are applied to the sheet automatically.

Yes, levelling up is built in: hit points, spell slots, class and subclass features all evolve with your sheet. Your character stays with you from creation to the highest levels, without re-entering anything.

From your sheet on the site, generate a single-use link code, then type the /token command in Discord with that code. Your character is then tied to your Discord account and playable directly in game. You can switch the linked character at any time by repeating the operation.

The bot is a real game engine. The /sheet command displays your character sheet, /attack and /cast resolve your attacks and spells, while /roll and /ability cover free rolls and ability checks. Initiative, advantage and disadvantage are computed automatically, and your spell slots and concentration are tracked from turn to turn.

The GM area gives you all the tools to run your games: campaign and quest management set in the world of Ziven, a bestiary of 335 SRD monsters, NPC creation, and a forge for custom items (weapons, armour, equipment). You can also award titles to your players, with bonuses tied to the places where they apply.

The Table is a live board shared between the GM and the players, to follow the scene together during the session. It is under active development and will be included in the "GM + Table" plan. In the meantime, the Discord bot already covers combat from start to finish.

No: your characters are private by default, visible only to you (and to your campaign's GM where relevant). If you're proud of one, you can publish it to the public gallery in one click — and make it private again whenever you like.

Registration is by email, with mandatory verification of your address before the first login. If you forget your password, a reset is available from the login page. The site complies with the GDPR, including for minors: any purchase requires a parent's consent.

Yes, CreationDePerso exists in four languages: French, English, German and Spanish. The language is carried by the page URL (for example /en/…), so you can share a link directly in the right language. French remains the reference language of the content.

No, CreationDePerso is an independent project, with no affiliation to Wizards of the Coast. The game content is based on the System Reference Document 5.1, published under the Creative Commons CC-BY-4.0 licence. Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are registered trademarks of Wizards of the Coast.

To keep the gallery a respectful space that complies with intellectual-property rules, every character or piece of content published to the public gallery goes through prior validation by our admin team. Names or content that are offensive, inappropriate or that infringe registered trademarks (such as the use of well-known commercial brands) are systematically declined. Your creations nevertheless remain fully usable in your private games, even while awaiting validation for the gallery.
